My first live jazz gig was “Walk Away” at “SCK Gwarek. My love to jazz music is strongly related to this experience. Now I know why I love fusion so much. One of the important member of “Walk Away” band was Zbyszek Jakubek – pianist and keyboard player. Unfortunately he died few years ago, too early. Last week in Gliwice was a special event: Tribute To Zbigniew Jakubek. Movie presentation and concert performed by his friends: Marek Raduli, Bartek Skubisz, Bernard Maseli, Adam Wendt, Rafał Stępień, Paweł Dobrowolski, Tomasz Grabowy. Wonderful music of Zbyszek (most of songs) performed in beautiful place. Ruins of Victoria Theatre”. I will remember this great Artist.
